TAKE ACTION!
There is much work to be done in our community where racial and ethnic diversity is the norm, and families are working, but still economically challenged.
Here are some of the ways that you can TAKE ACTION and support New London's young children.
Volunteer in schools and child care programs.
Read to, talk to and listen to children.
Go to the library with a child.
Become involved in the community: attend City Council meetings and Board of Education meetings.
Register and vote.
Contact your state senator and state representative and urge them to support efforts to improve the lives of young children.
